Am I to old to get excited about my birthday?

I love birthdays my main language of love is gift giving! so I feel loved up on my birthday.

Have you ever read that book by Gary Chapman called The Five Languages of Love? Take a glance at their website five love languages

I am 37, it's weird when you think about where you start out and then where you end up. I guess the last thing my parents thought when I was born in East Belfast was that I would end up in Ibiza, although they did always pray that we would grow up to serve God and they both trained to be missionairies in Brazil but never got there, we ended up in heathen England instead. So maybe the overseas thing is in my genes.

Did you know that diarrhoea is also hereditary! it runs in the genes....

Anyway enough of the jokes, it's raining but that won't dampen my mood I have had some great pressies. Tracy got me a cool black jumper (black is very slimming on me) from

Ellis got me some exquisite mini cuban cigars made by

and daniel got me some superb smellies sponsored by this man

and tonight we are going for a meal at the Banyan Palace, they do an all you can eat winter buffet, which should be cool, it's cheap, it's Thai food and all our community are going.

The rest of the day will be chilled, and then tomorrow I am off to Madrid for two days with the guys from 24-7 Spain, which should be fun. It's just a small gathering and will be good for my Spanish!

Hi Brian - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I love reading your blog, reminding me of Ibiza and seeing how much things still move on there if not in my own life atm!

Keep pressing on, being passionate and serving God. I know he loves what you and the team are doing in Ibiza. If he was on earth now the odds on Him being in Ibiza and very good!

in relastion to your other post, drop all labels. there not useful, so what if some thing is emerging or 'just' and fresh expression. the key is, is it building the kingdom and is it what you've been called to do by God?

i've been learning this point the hard way!

I just had a moment of realisation of how friggin nuts it is that your my next door neighbour and that we live in Ibiza. I mean, as little as 3 years ago if someone had told me this is where we would be there is no way I would have believed them.

Happy birthday you old git.
