The rain stopped and the barbecue was excellent, Billy cooked some great tapas, we had some lovely wine and the evening was finished of by some Hierbas Ibicenco. Which made me think of home.

I watched some more snooker which I know can sound terribly old and boring but like my wife i find something quite comforting about the tidiness of snooker. It gets neater as the game continues.

I also went to a garden centre this morning and bought some rocket, lettuce and pepper seeds to grow in my garden.

It's at times like these when I wonder if I am becoming old, snooker and gardening!

Tomorrow I am busy, with a lunch meeting and an evening meeting. Looking forward to hanging out with all the guys from 24-7prayer.

Age is a worrying thing!

Found some great quotes:

Abraham Lincoln said: And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

William James said: How pleasant is the day when we give up striving to be young -- or slender.

Anyway gardening is cool and so is snooker, Damien Hirst was in the audience watching the final, he's one of my favourite artists. Surely that makes it cool.

mate, you have to watch the snooker on bank holiday Monday, it's the law. That O'Sullivan is no Dennis Taylor though.
