Walking Home

We had a really simple thing happen to us this evening, I was in the prayer room with some of the guys when we got a phone call from a worker who just wanted us to walk her home. She normally waits and walks home with her friends but tonight she wanted to go early, so she phoned us.

Thats exactly what we did; two of us went and met her and then walked her home. She wasn't drunk or messed up just a normal girl trying something different for the summer working hard and having fun in the sun, we had a lovely little small talk chat and left her off safe and sound. I felt like more of a dad on the street tonight than I have ever done. Just walking someone's daughter home and making sure she got in okay.

It's lovely that people feel safe with us.
