This is were we are up to on our workers packs, they will include: Lovehearts, An information card on ecstacy, a few prayer request cards, marmite sachet, our information card, condoms, a general information sheet, lighters and a bible, I think that is pretty good. The love hearts and the info cards will cost about £90 each but we went ahead and ordered without the cash. You've got to have faith.

I read this today in Brennan Mannings "Ragamuffin Gospel" a classic I revisit from time to time it is from a book by Andrew Greeley "What a modern Catholic believes about God"

"Reject Christianity if you will out of motives of cynicism, turn away from it because you believe Reality is malign and punitive; choose a God that is cantankerous, vindictive, or forgetful, or determined to keep man in his place, if such a God is more to your choosing. If you cannot accept the idea that love is at the core of the universe, that is your privilege. If you do not believe that the absolute passionately wants to be our friend and our lover, then by all means reject such a seemingly absurd notion. If you do not believe that we have the enthusiasm, and the strength, and the courage, and the creativity to love one another as friends, then quickly cast aside such an incredible idea into the trash can. And if you think it is ridiculous that life will triumph over death, then don't bother with christianity, because you can't be a christian unless you believe that"

Brian, I forgot to comment earlier that John and I are going to Marcos warehouse to buy some love heart sweets and bring them with us to you next week.

Now that you have already ordered them, is there anything else we can buy in bulk from Macros to bring over?

Maybe condoms or something, (but not Marmite 'cause that's disgusting, although Bovril is ok.)

Hey Tanya, anything small and fun! single wrapped teabags? sweets, ones that won't melt. Nice things that people would really like, small but cool... I'll leave it up to you. Maybe if anyone else in the UK has some stuff they could post it to you as you have a huge luggage allowance with 5 people coming?

Hi to you, Brian, from Community Church Southampton! I'm sitting here sorting out welcome screens that go up each Sunday and see that it's YOU on 3rd June. This is your chance! For the next few weeks you can pen your own strapline :-) So, "Brian Heasley: ..........." Remember, this will be seen by hundreds...

I think "Brian Heasley Ibizan sex God will be in our midst, this man is carrying the anointing, a true super hero of the faith and someone we should all want to be like. He's not actually a very good speaker and is only here because he is Billy's friend." Find out more at www.briaheasley.blogspot.com

We've just been returning to Brennan Manning as well, we can never be reminded enough of God's grace and love at the centre of the universe. The visual edition of Ragamuffin Gospel would fit well into your library. We will send you an e-mail about sending over some books to add to your collection

Thanks Brian, that's perfect and pretty much what I imagined you'd say. It'll be in such a small font no-one will read it anyway. Oooh, I am SORELY TEMPTED...
